This print series reflects how we remain connected despite being spatially separated during the pandemic. Together, the shapes form an interconnected ecosystem. Together, the shapes fit into each other creating a beautiful composition, which is a metaphor for the power that people have when they come together in community.

Yet, the shapes do not touch, which represents our current mandate to stay spatially separated in order to reduce contagion of the virus. I had fun with this series because it was the first time that I composed a piece with text on the border instead of the middle area. I also experimented with having lines in the background that could hold all the components together. I enjoyed thinking about shapes as symbols of human connection.

This series is a highly limited edition of 24 prints. A portion of the sales from these prints will be donated to farm workers in need of protective gear due to the wildfires, which will continue through the remainder of the fall.
