This piece depicts a man who is imagining himself flying away into an alternate universe. He imagines himself as a butterfly in the midst of transformation. These pieces are part of a series of experiments I conducted where I worked through various iterations of the same image. I conducted tests where I played with tones and layered colors, while retaining the black outline of the figure and color palette.
