This is one of my favorite anti-war I've posters ever created. This poster was originally commissioned by Code Pink and launched at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. I designed this poster to speak out against the War in the Middle East which was still being waged when Obama was selected as the Democratic candidate. Both political parties have failed to do enough to bring about peace. Instead, they have funneled money for war and not for communities who have been impacted by inequality, system racism and institutional violence. This poster is a statement about love. The peace signs in the woman's sunglasses symbolize the need for us to work together to build a better future.
