This poster reimagines my classic Migration Is Beautiful design to amplify a collective demand heard across the country: ICE OUT. In the face of an authoritarian agenda that seeks to divide us by scapegoating Black and Brown communities, people are courageously speaking out. Communities nationwide are calling for an end to ICE’s violent practices and the kidnapping of our loved ones.

The monarch butterfly symbolizes the beauty and necessity of migration, and the inherent right of all living beings to move freely. Nature did not create borders; borders are man-made. Each wing of the butterfly contains a human profile, reflecting our shared our interconnected struggles for dignity, safety, and freedom.
