Into the Wild is a limited-edition chine collé collage series that remixes “orphaned” textures and shapes that gather in my studio. Rooted in my commitment to honor paper as a living material that once was a tree, I don’t discard remnants. Instead, I reimagine them in new compositions. This series blends my characters, food imagery and symbols from nature into a playful celebration that celebrates my wild side. Being wild means being connected to nature as a life force—growing like a wildflower, expanding like an untamed ecosystem, and embracing a self unrestricted by colonial narratives. This collection reflects my journey toward becoming a more wild femme through art, food, and a relationship with the land.
