This piece connects militarism, occupation, genocide, and gender violence in Palestine through the image of a figure raising her hand in a powerful gesture of refusal above a crowd of protesters. It was created in collaboration with INCITE! Women, Gender Non-Conforming, and Trans People of Color Against Violence and the Palestinian Feminist Collective. Originally printed as an offset poster, thousands of copies were distributed and wheat-pasted in cities across the United States. Inspired by a 1970s Vietnam War protest poster, the work honors the legacy of feminist resistance. Through this print, I create visual tools that help communities express collective outrage and solidarity.
