This set comes with one of each 3 original posters designed to protect our National Parks and to protect public lands.
Growing up in a concrete city with barely any trees, parks were my first real connection to nature. They were the only places where I could interact and learn about nature and animals. National parks especially shaped my identity as a climate justice activist.
As of July 2025, our parks are still under threat. The recently passed awful Trump bill rolls back critical National Park Service (NPS) funding:
- It claws back 267 million dollars in staffing funds, threatening the hiring of park rangers and vital personnel.
- It is part of a broader proposal to cut 1.2 billion dollars from NPS, reducing the budget from 2.67 billion to 1.8 billion dollars, which is a 31% reduction
- That translates to the elimination of approximately 5,518 full-time positions, along with major reductions to cultural and natural programs, by 60 and 95 percent respectively
These cuts come at a time when the NPS has already lost 24 percent of its permanent workforce. Visitor numbers remain high, with over 331 million people visiting in 2024, but services, safety, and ecosystem protections are dangerously under-resourced.
This poster pack is a tool for resistance! Public parks, along with the animals, cultures, and ecosystems they support, are not for sale!
Parks belong to all of us. Not to corporations. Not to extractive industries.
Grab one of these poster sets and use them in protests, teach-ins, classrooms, community centers, or anywhere people are organizing for land and climate justice.
