Shape of Things to Come is a playful, experimental series that explores the anticipation and tension that builds before a sexual connection. These pieces celebrate the phallic shape that is a strap-on. 

In this work, the phallus is freed from the body. By detaching it from gendered representation, I’m interested in how phallic energy can live in anyone. These erect forms become shapes, patterns, even architectures of desire. In these collages, I use them as geometry—as repetition, as rhythm—to explore how pleasure can be abstracted and universal.
