This new collage honors the Toad. Diving into the world of toads has been an eye-opening journey for me. Last year, I did an art piece about the endangered Dixie Valley Toad, and that opened the door to understanding toads and their vital role in ecosystems.

Did you know that toads aren't just adorable creatures, but also crucial indicators of environmental health?They keep ecosystems balanced by preying on insects and serving as a vital food source for various animals.

Sadly, amphibian populations, including toads, are facing alarming declines due to habitat destruction, climate change, and pollution. Toads are integral components of healthy ecosystems, and their protection is essential for maintaining ecological balance and biodiversity. It's up to us to take action and protect these species and the diverse life they support.
